CES SHIELD Coating System

CES Advanced Composites and Defense Technologies have successfully completed another environmental conditioning test to meet the ever increasing demands from our partners in the maritime sector. CEShield coating and finishing system has successfully passed 1,000 hours of salt spray tests according to EN ISO 9227. In parallel, this also corresponds to roughly 10 years of service life for land applications.

Poor finishing of armour panels is a major concern in long term effectiveness and performance of armour panels. CEShield provides a robust seal covering the insert, shield or armour panel and forms a strong layer of protection against conditions such as chemicals, UV-Light, shock, abrasion, peeling, punching, soiling and in general ageing.

CEShield delivers a user-friendly final layer for paint applications and furthermore can be applied as an anti-skid surface upon request.
