It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit it. They allow the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as your cookie choice) for a period of time, and can also be used to measure how visitors use the site. Similar technologies (such as scripts, pixels and local storage) that store or access information on your device are treated in the same way in this policy.
Consent — how we ask for itOur use of cookies is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 (in force 5 February 2026), together with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We only set non-essential cookies with your prior consent, given to the UK GDPR standard: it must be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous. When you first visit the website, our cookie notice therefore offers three buttons of equal size and prominence — "Options", "Reject" and "Accept". "Options" opens the "Privacy Preferences" panel, where you can switch the Analytics and Marketing categories on or off individually and confirm with "Save Options", "Reject All" or "Accept All". If you reject, we use only essential cookies. This policy reflects the ICO's guidance on storage and access technologies (29 April 2026).
The Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager technologies we use are provided by a third party and involve measurement across pages, so they do not fall within the first-party statistics exception introduced by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. We therefore use Google Consent Mode: the Google tag and Google Tag Manager load on every page, but until you consent, analytics and advertising storage are set to "denied", no Google Analytics or Google Ads cookies are placed on or read from your device, and advertising click identifiers are redacted. In that state Google receives only limited, cookieless signals (such as the fact that a page was viewed, your consent status and basic browser information), which are not linked to a cookie identifier and which Google may use for aggregated, modelled reports. Analytics and marketing cookies are set only after you have consented to the relevant category.
These cookies are required for the website to operate, to stay secure and to remember the choice you make in the cookie notice (the ck_consent_v2 cookie). They are marked "Always on" in the preferences panel and cannot be switched off, because the website does not function properly without them. Under PECR, they do not require consent.
Category 2 — Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics)These cookies are set by Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-96EVTW749Z), loaded through the Google tag (gtag.js). They help us understand how visitors use the website — the number of visitors, the pages viewed and how visitors found us — so that we can improve it. They are set only if you switch on "Analytics" in the preferences panel or choose "Accept" / "Accept All".
Category 3 — Marketing Cookies (Google Ads; Meta: Facebook and Instagram)These cookies measure the impact of our advertising and allow relevant ads to be shown. On this website, Google Ads conversion tracking (conversion ID AW-16550925730) and the Google Ads Conversion Linker are delivered through Google Tag Manager (container GTM-KZQ6RNK7), and our Google tag is linked to our Google Ads account. We may also use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, to measure our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Marketing cookies are set, and the Meta Pixel is loaded, only if you switch on "Marketing" in the preferences panel or choose "Accept" / "Accept All"; without that consent no request is sent to Meta and no Meta cookies are set. Google and Meta may process the related data in the United States; such transfers rely on the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (the "UK–US data bridge") or other appropriate safeguards.

Google Tag Manager (GTM-KZQ6RNK7) itself is a tag-delivery tool and does not set cookies of its own on this website; the tags it delivers (Google Ads conversion tracking and the Conversion Linker) operate under the Marketing consent settings described above.
How can you manage or withdraw your consent?
You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future:
• Click Cookie Preferences (the link is also at the bottom of every page) to reopen the "Privacy Preferences" panel, switch the Analytics and Marketing categories on or off, and save your choice. When you reject or withdraw consent for a category, the cookies of that category set on our domain (_ga, _ga_*, _gcl_au, _fbp, _fbc) are deleted from your browser and Google Consent Mode is updated straight away.
