COOKIE POLICY

Last updated: August 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how C.E.S. İleri Kompozit ve Savunma Teknolojileri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. ("CES Advanced Composites & Defence Technologies Inc.", "CES", "we") uses cookies and similar storage and access technologies on www.cesarmour.co.uk. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit it. They allow the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as your cookie choice) for a period of time, and can also be used to measure how visitors use the site. Similar technologies (such as scripts, pixels and local storage) that store or access information on your device are treated in the same way in this policy.

Consent — how we ask for it

Our use of cookies is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 (in force 5 February 2026), together with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We only set non-essential cookies with your prior consent, given to the UK GDPR standard: it must be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous. Our cookie banner therefore offers "Accept all" and "Reject" with equal prominence, plus a preferences panel where you can make a category-by-category choice, and this policy reflects the ICO's guidance on storage and access technologies (29 April 2026).

The Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager technologies we use are provided by a third party and involve visitor measurement across pages, so they do not fall within the first-party statistics exception introduced by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. They therefore run only if you consent to analytics cookies. If you do not consent, no analytics cookies are set on your device.

Category 1 — Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are required for the website to operate and to remember the choice you make in the cookie banner. They cannot be switched off through the preferences panel because the website does not function properly without them. Under PECR, they do not require consent.

Category 2 — Performance / Analytics Cookies

These cookies are set by Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-96EVTW749Z), deployed through Google Tag Manager (container GTM-KZQ6RNK7). They help us understand how visitors use the website — the number of visitors, the pages viewed and how visitors found us — so that we can improve it. They are set only with your consent. Until you consent, Google Consent Mode keeps analytics and advertising storage denied and no analytics cookies are placed on your device.

The table below lists the cookies used on www.cesarmour.co.uk and their storage periods.

Cookie Domain Category Description Duration
ck_consent_v2 cesarmour.co.uk Strictly necessary Stores the cookie consent choice you make in our banner (which categories you have accepted or rejected), so that we can honour it on your next visits. 1 Year
_ga cesarmour.co.uk Analytics Set by Google Analytics. Used to distinguish visitors by assigning a randomly generated identifier, and to calculate visitor, session and campaign data for site usage reports. Set only with your consent. 2 Years
_ga_G-96EVTW749Z cesarmour.co.uk Analytics Set by Google Analytics 4 to persist the session state for this website's measurement ID (G-96EVTW749Z). Set only with your consent. 2 Years

Google Tag Manager (GTM-KZQ6RNK7) itself is a tag-delivery tool and does not set cookies of its own on this website; the tags it loads (Google Analytics) operate under the consent settings described above.

How can you manage or withdraw your consent?

You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future:

• Reopen our preferences panel by clicking Cookie Preferences and switch the analytics category on or off.

• Delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Guidance for the most common browsers:
• Google Chrome
• Mozilla Firefox
• Apple Safari
• Microsoft Edge

• Opt out of Google Analytics across all websites with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies through your browser may prevent parts of the website from working properly.

Questions and complaints

If you have questions about this Cookie Policy or about how we process personal data collected through cookies, contact us at info@ces.com.tr. Details of your rights — including your right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) — are set out in our Privacy Policy.
